Tripod arrived with the box torn and sent back with Durex. No protection on the tripod, only a plastic and the Caica torn. The tripod is quite high and appears to be sturdy. The pipes are very thin and I do not think they are steel, only the clamping shafts they are, but it really is very stable and appears to be of good quality! For the price I believe it’s worth it. Mine came with a pipe with a slight denting. I did not ask for the exchange because I believe that this will not influence the use. I was very happy with the product and the speed of delivery, only the quality of the packaging and care of the product left to be desired.

Very sturdy, I am happy at this pricepoint. Seems to be made of some nice stainless steel, its rather lightweight. I do wish the little feet were better, just flat plastic plugs, so isnt the most stable at certain angles, will need sandbags. You can get the wheels though, so I will probably upgrade and add castor wheels. Will indeed hold hefty lights and more, maybe don’t hang on it like a monkey, but you probably could. Gets VERY tall, the 2.8M height is great!
