The build quality is very good. I am a bit disappointed, and thus giving four stars only, because the mechanism to lock the tripod legs at different angles must be manually opened and closed, it is not spring loaded. This seems like an oversigjt for a product of this quality and at this price point. Ball head is excellent, silky smooth.
