This will make a fantastic support for various radio antennas. It’s especially good for portable use in the field for amateur radio and short wave radio listening. The price is good and the quality is acceptable. Shipping was fast! One issue: It was not well packaged. The packaged arrived in bad condition and partly open. Fortunately no parts were missing. Bad things happen on the way from China to the USA. A little more attention to packaging would be helpful.

Excellent sturdy metal tripod. It comes with a 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch adapter shown in photo, which reverses according to what you are mounting. Extends to 2.9 metres, and I will probably be using it to mount antennas. The 3/8 screw will fit into an M10 socket as used on PAC-12 antennas.

Purchased to use it based for temporary support for amateur radio antenna. The package arrived a little crushed, but the contents were intact. Tripod light, but very stable and robust. It allowed me, adequately ballasted, to raise a support of about 8 meters for a very light self-built V/U antenna.
